Shipping & Pick Up

Does Lotus ship to PO Box addresses?

No. Our shipping service, UPS, will not ship to PO Box addresses and, therefore, we cannot ship to a PO Box.

Does Lotus offer split shipments for the same order?

Separate items may be shipped to different addresses. But, same order can not be split to different addresses.

What type of shipping services does Lotus Media use?

We currently use UPS to ship our packages.

Will a signature be required at the time of my delivery?

No, just like with UPS deliveries, a signature will not be required.

Artworks And Files

1. What type of files can I send to Lotus Media?

We recommend saving as a .PDF. You may also send the file in the following types: jpg, jpeg, tif, tiff, eps, and png.

We prefer that you send .PDF with embedded or outlined fonts. 300 dpi CMYK color code. .PDF’s are easier to handle and will likely speed up your turn-around. Remember to add crop marks and flatten your files before uploading.

2. How should I set up my bleed?

Bleed must extend past the cut-line and will be trimmed from the product during the final cutting phase. When the image is required to extend all the way to the edge, bleed is needed to preserve the finished look and the quality of the final product.

Please keep all text at least 0.125″ inside the cut-line.

– The bleed for Standard Products is 0.125″.
– The bleed for Booklets and Presentation Folders is 0.25″.

3. Do you accept borders on jobs?

Yes, but if the border is too close to the cutline, it may be cut off-center slightly. We cut through many sheets at a time, so watch your borders to avoid an unwanted mistake.

Printing And Turn Around

1. When the turnaround times start?

Please note: Turnaround times are based on the producing facility time zone.
If you choose group shipping your turnaround time may be extended by at least one day.

Our turnaround times refer solely to production. Once production is complete it may take up to one business day for orders to ship or be available for pick-up.  It is our goal to release all jobs as soon as completion of production allows. The last day of your turn-around is not a guaranteed “in hands” date or shipping date.

We can count the day that you place the order for:

  • Next Day Turnaround:  orders must be uploaded and approved by 9:00 AM
  • Other Turnaround orders must be uploaded and approved by 12:00 PM

Turnaround starts from the time the file upload is complete or you approve the artworks we design for you. If a job has revised files, is placed on hold, or is awaiting proof approval the turnaround starts from time the approval is given. Orders that complete after 5:00PM may not be available for pick up until the following morning.
